My name is Mariana. I am a fine art maternity, family & baby photographer. I moved from England to France not long ago. I live in Toulouse with my husband and two little boys. But I share my time between Toulouse & Paris photographing English-speaking families.

MODEL RELEASE

Participating families will be asked to sign a model release authorizing me to use the images from our session. You can read more about it here

WHAT TO WEAR

+ For moms: a midi or maxi dress 
+ For the whole family: outfits in soft/muted or neutral colors only

+ I’ll share with you all the detailed styling guidance, including my top favorite stores that accommodate various budgets.

What to expect

This is a call for you to join my VIP model call list.

No. I’m an experienced, award-winning photographer. My goal for these sessions is give me the freedom to try new things (new location, technique, equipment) to continue improving the quality of my work

I am searching for expecting couples/families that are international, laid-back, authentic, LOVE playing with their kids, and who would like to have meaningful and not Instagram-perfect images. 

I combine a mix of very natural lifestyle posing + documentary (no guidance) to create a collection of candid, non-traditional images. My work is not about looking pretty & perfect. It is about togetherness, love, joy, and true little personalities. 

Maternity, newborn & family. Most sessions will be:

-Motherhood: mom + baby or children (ages up to 6)
-Maternity: mom only or mom + dad
-Children only

Sessions with the whole family (mom + dad + children) might be available from time to time.

Most sessions will be “mini-sessions”: 20 min (studio or outdoor) and 1h (in-home). But full sessions might be offered when needed (2-3 per year).

If you reschedule your session 2 weeks in advance from your session date, I’m happy to arrange another session date for you when I have another opening. If rescheduling is with less than a 2-week notice, I’ll be unable to offer you another model call session. 

I typically open model call sessions monthly (in Toulouse or Paris). But the number of sessions and the frequency depends on the specific needs and availability I have.

Not at all! Everything will be a GIFT. Here is what is included:

-Digital Welcome Guide (detailed written guidance)
-15-min Pre-session video call 
-Session: 20-min (studio / outdoor) or 1-hour (in-home)
-High-res digital files for download in private gallery: 10 (studio / outdoor) or 15 (in-home)

Express your interest to participate in the model call session. You’ll be added to an exclusive VIP list. Whenever I have a specific need, like try out a new location or technique, I’ll email everyone on the list with a link to book the session.

The model call list is already long. So if you are really interested, make sure to secure your spot as soon as you receive the email. This is especially important if you’re in Paris as I often model call sessions less often.

Access to the studio wardrobe is not available for model call sessions, only for paid sessions.

But I’ll offer detailed guidance of what to choose and where to buy (for different budgets). For ideas, see this blog post.

TOULOUSE: we only need to reschedule your in case of rain. If it is cloudy, we will keep our session – cloudy days are perfect for outdoor photography because the light is soft and even. 

PARIS: we will keep the session if there is light rain. I’ll provide a clear umbrella.
